New Video: Turning a living space into a workout space

Posted by: Tracy Anderson

Recently I met with architect, interior designer, and Tracy Anderson Method devotee Jessica Wilpon Kamel, to review some tips and tricks on how you can turn a small space into a functioning workout space.  People are always asking me how they can create more space in their homes to do the DVDs, especially if they don’t have a home gym.  Jessica is here to help answer your questions and help you layout enough room for your workout.

In addition to Jessica’s suggestions, here are some other great tips for creating a workout space:

  • Add wheels to items such as coffee tables or ottomans so that they can be easily moved.
  • Purchase multi-functional pieces that can be used as extra seating and storage.
  • Make sure that you have enough storage pieces to tuck away exercise weights, mats, and other props.
  • Don’t roll up your rug!  A rug can be used as extra padding.

I hope you enjoy all of these suggestions and incorporate these tips the next time you do one of my DVD workouts!
